Ahead of their big Christmas Concert tomorrow night, the children of Castledockrell NS sought to warm up in the winter weather with a spot of busing at SuperValu in Bunclody on Friday.

The group sang a mixture of traditional Christmas songs and hymns, as well as playing some beautiful music on their tin whistles, accordions, concertinas and flutes. There was even some twinkle-toed action with an Irish dancing display!

After the busking, the kids warmed themselves up with some delicious hot chocolate and cookies; a special treat after a great morning of entertainment. The school wished to thank all parents who provided lifts and also to music teacher Helena for all her hard work.
