On the opening night of the exhibition club chairperson, Jacqueline McCann, presented the prize winners with their prizes.

Jarlath Judge won Best Creative Digital Image) while Jacqueline McCann won the Most Humorous Image title.

Joe Dixon was named as the Advanced Photographer while Sandra Kelly was crowned Intermediate Photographer of the year.

The opening of the exhibition which was held in the Church Institute was performed by Ray Murphy.

Over the course of the weekend there was a steady flow of visitors to the exhibition with the old photographs from Strawberry Fairs of bygone days being a particular hit with those who visited.

'We were delighted with our annual exhibition', said a spokesperson for the club.

'We were busy for the course of the weekend and many people were particularly interested in seeing Paddy Murphy's collection of old photographs recognising both their parents and grandparents in many of the photographs.

'The exhibition of photographs by the camera club members was also exceptionally well received by the public as well.

'The prize giving was held on opening night and there was a good crowd in attendance which added to the buzz.'
