Echoes of a 10 ounce mouse

Brendan Keane

When it comes to hard working bands few take to the road as much as Enniscorthy based Ten Ounce Mouse.

The band, which will hit the Presentation Centre on Friday, August 30, for the launch of their new single, 'Echoes'.

On the night the band will be joined by Foot Squeaker, the Elephant Room and Innuendo and the doors will open at 6.30 p.m.

An indie outfit, Ten Ounce Mouse sits firmly within the pop-rock genre but the eclectic tastes and influences of the four members means the band's overall sound is rather unique.

Though the band has only been going for just over a year-and-a-half they have an enviable reputation as being an act definitely on the rise.

The band released a live album in November 2018, recorded at Holohan's Pub, and that followed on from a round of very well received gigs around the country.

The band is composed of: Luc Power (Vocals); Brandon Murphy (Guitar); Jags Denby-Atkinson (Bass) and Michael O'Connor (Drums).

Tickets for the single launch are priced €10 and will be available on the door or through www.presentationcentre.ie
