A large group of people gathered in Bree village for a winter fun run and walk that was organised in support of Bree Youth Club,

One of the most active organisations of its type in the county the youth club caters for children and young people aged between 10 and 18.

The club provides them with a space where they can mingle and interact with their peers and form new friendships.

The organisation also facilitates participation in a wide range of activities for its members who are encouraged to utilise their talents.

As with most youth clubs the organisation in Bree is run in a voluntary capacity by its youth club leaders and in addition to creative activities its members also get to participate in various sports as well.

The high regard in which the organisation and those involved in it are held within the community was underlined by the large number of people who gathered to participate in the event.

The participants included youth club members, leaders, parents and friends.

The organisers were delighted with the turnout and they acknowledged the effort of everyone who turned up on the day to take part.

Anyone interested in getting involved with Bree Youth Club can find out more by contacting breeyouthclub@gmail.com.

The club is open to everyone in the stated age category.
