A number of well known sporting personalities including Wexford senior hurler, Liam Ryan and newly crowned World 9 Ball Pool Champions Adam Maher and Ben Doyle will take part in the Enniscorthy Enterprise Town which takes place in the IFA Centre, Mill Park Road, on Friday, September 29.

They will be joining former Irish Boxing Olympian Adam Nolan who will also take part in the Bank of Ireland initiative which is expected to attract huge interest among the general public.

The Enniscorthy Enterprise Town event is designed to focus on what Enniscorthy has to offer in terms of commercial, sporting, recreational and social activities and will act as a 'shop window' of what is available in the town.

Trade stalls at the Enniscorthy Enterprise Town will be limited to just 40 exhibitors who will promote their particular enterprise, be it entrepreneurial, sporting or cultural.

Anyone thinking of taking part in the exhibition is advised to contact any member of staff at Bank of Ireland Enniscorthy to book a stall.

Almost half the exhibition spaces which are free of charge have already been snapped up and it is expected that demand will exceed supply so early booking is essential.

Admission to the exhibition hall for the general public is also free of charge and those attending can enjoy what Enniscorthy has to offer by way of commercial activity, sporting facilities, cultural attractions and recreational pastimes.

The Enniscorthy Enterprise Town project will run from 5.30 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, and will also feature a number of other activities. Karl Henry from the hugely popular TV programme 'Operation Transformation' will give a motivational talk on health and well-being while South East Radio's 'Business Matters' presenter Karl Fitzpatrick will chair a panel discussion involving some of County Wexford's best known food producers. Entertainment will include Irish dancers, singers and musicians.

It is hoped to build on the success of last year's inaugural Enniscorthy Enterprise Town and will lead to an increase in business in all aspects of commercial activity going forward.
