Suicide and self-harm awareness talk at Enniscorthy Library
Enniscorthy library will play host to a talk this week on suicide and self-harm awareness.
The talk will take place on Thursday, September 5, at 7 p.m. and will be presented by Pauline Lawlor, from Pieta House.
A spokesperson for the library said those attending will be able to meet Pauline who will be happy to answer questions and guide people through the options and supports available to families affected by suicide and self-harm.
Pieta House provides free, therapeutic support to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm.
'Compassion, kindness and support are available for all parents, families and carers of children and teens who are in need of it,' said the library spokesperson.
The event is open to everyone in the community and more information can be had through the library on 053 9196732.
