Riverside Hotel want to extend hotel entrance

Esther Hayden

There will be further changes at the Riverside Park Hotel if Wexford County Council give a new planning application the thumbs up.

The Neville family, the owners of the hotel, have applied to the council for an extension and alterations to the main entrance and reception area of the hotel. They are also looking for alterations to the conservatory corridor of the hotel.

The application read that the development which is within the curtilage of the protected structure of the Millhouse Bar, Salthouse Lane, will involve elevation changes to the front (east) elevation of the hotel and amendments to the existing set down area, footpath and terrace to the front of the hotel and the provision of an access ramp.

Anyone wishing to make a submission on the application may be made in writing to the planning department of Wexford County Council during the next five weeks.
