Gaelscoil Inis Córthaidh will hold its 'Oíche Oscailte' or open night next Tuesday, February 13 from 6.30 to 8 p.m. The staff and management at the school in Drumgoold are inviting all parents and guardians who are interested in sending their children to the school to drop in and see the facilities available first hand and meet with Príomhoide Judy Uí Ifearnáin and her staff, as well as current pupils.

The subjects of the Revised Primary School Curriculum are taught in Gaelscoil Inis Córthaidh. As well as the core-subjects of Gaeilge, English, Maths and Social, Environmental and Scientific Education, particular emphasis is placed on developing the children's self-confidence and their creative expression through Music, Visual Arts and Drama. Gaelscoil Inis Córthaidh has grown steadily since its foundation in 1995 to an eleven teacher school which has been based in Drumgoold for the past four years.
