Meeting planned for Oylegate wastewater extension
A meeting is scheduled to take place later this month to discuss Irish Water's submission relating to a wastewater collection system extension in Oylegate.
The extension of the system is required to provide for an additional 33 households on the western side of the village.
Reporting to the members of Enniscorthy Municipal District Council this month Wexford County Council Senior Executive Engineer, Tadhg O'Corcora, said an associated increase in the wastewater treatment plant capacity, right-of-way, and wayleave will also be required to facilitate the additional houses.
Mr O'Corcora also informed the members that the local authority has had discussions with the Department of Local Government and Environment with a view to expediting the project.
