Ah the 1980s...a simpler time and a time of great colour. And boy was there plenty of colour at Enniscorthy Rugby Club as it hosted the Pretty in Pink fundraising night. Inspired by the classic 80s cult movie of the same name, the evening saw the clocks well and truly turned back as the ladies dusted off their finest pink and eighties inspired gear and partied like it was 1986!

A charity event, the night was the Rugby Club's first major social event of the season. It took place in conjunction with Ladies Charity Day and all money raised will to towards Breast Cancer Ireland's Pink Ribbon Campaign. As well as this, the event was a great way of raising awareness for breast cancer among women and those in attendance were delighted to be able to help out with such a worthy cause.

Quite obviously 'pink' was the theme of the evening and it was certainly 'ladies night' up on the dancefloor as DJ Jabbers injected a healthy dose of nostalgia with a range of hits from a time of big hair and leg warmers! A great night was had by all and the organisers wished to thank everyone who came along and contributed.
