Regan organic farm in Dranagh provided the venue for a talk on healthy eating during which the focus of attention was placed on 'key health indicators'.

The 'organic way to wellness' event featured well known Wexford nutrition and health coach, Ann O'Gorman, as the guest speaker.

She highlighted the differences that switching to organic [produce] can make with regard to health indicators.

She also emphasised ways that people can incorporate organic produce into people's everyday lives in a way that is practical, easy and enjoyable.

She also took attendees through the process of making their own organic bone broth, the health tonic that is very popular at the moment.

The founder of Regan Organic Farm, Mary Regan, shared the story of how the farm began and how the farm animals - chickens, ducks and pigs - are cared for while being reared.

Those present were then treated to delicious samples of Regan organic fare and they also got to see the animals on the farm.
