5km charity walk and run - A 5km walk/run will take place from the Hub, Ross Road, Enniscorthy on Sunday, June 23, beginning at 11am.
The event is being organised to raise money for Wexford Hospice Homecare and the support of people within the community will be very much appreciated by the organisers.
All donations made towards the event will be gratefully accepted.
The organisers said refreshments will also be served on the day after the event.
St Mary's Cemetery children's patron will take place on Monday, July 1, at 7pm.
The patrons throughout the Enniscorthy town area will take place at the following times and locations: Cherryorchard, Thursday, July 4, at 7 p.m.; Presentation Convent, Thursday, July 11, at 7 p.m.; St Aidan's Cathedral, Sunday, August 11, at 11.50 a.m.; St Mary's Cemetery, Sunday, August 11, at 3 p.m.
Town Trail artists call
The Wexford Literary Festival, in conjunction with the Enniscorthy Arts Trail and the Presentation Arts Centre, is seeking applications from visual artists to participate in a joint exhibition of work titled Response, Text, Redefined.
Artists are being invited to submit a response to any form of text that has influenced the artist or their practice in any way.
All submitting artists in 2019 will be considered for the new Denis Collins Visual Arts Award.
The award is a recognition of Mr Collins who sadly passed away earlier this year and who contributed greatly to the arts community in County Wexford.
The deadline for submissions to the visual art exhibition is 4 p.m. on Friday, June 21.

Food plan on view
The public exhibition of the proposed Enniscorthy flood defence scheme is now on view in the local library.
It will remain on display until Tuesday, June 18.
The proposed scheme combines a number of measures to prevent flooding in the town.
The plan will be on show during normal opening hours but members of the public should take note that today is the final day they will have to view it.
Drama group AGM
Enniscorthy Drama Group will be holding its Annual General Meeting in Treacy's Hotel on Friday, June 28, at 7 p.m.
All members are encouraged to attend and a number of items will be discussed on the night.
Ferns cycle for charity
Ferns Camogie Club will be organising a charity cycle event on July 14.
The event is being organised to raise money for the club and also Temple Street Hospital.
Further details about the event will be published in this newspaper over the coming weeks.
The Medjugorje conference and day of prayer will take place on Saturday, August 31.
It will feature Sr Briege McKenna and will take place at Neptune Stadium, Cork.
Tickets to attend the event are priced €20 and are available from eventbrite.ie.
For those interested in attending, a discount code 'EARLYBIRD' can be entered to receive a discount price of €15.
All tickets will be entered for a free pilgrimage to Medjugorje from Cork or Dublin.

Bunclody AFC provides the venue for walking football every week.
The games take place on Thursdays at 11 a.m. and are ideal for people of all ages, genders and fitness levels.
Everyone in the community is encouraged to go along and join in the fun.
German history event
Bunclody library will play host to what promises to be an informative and educational seminar on Thursday, June 20.
John Power will provide those in attendance with an insight into the history of Germany.
Mr Power will give a brief overview of its three empires and the Weimar Republic.
He will lead the audience through the history of one of the most powerful nations on the planet from Varus, the Roman General, to Bismarck and the GDR.

Seven Cs of calm
Wellbeing expert Caroline Cunningham will be in Bunclody library on Thursday, June 27, to present a workshop called 'Seven Cs to Calm: Reclaiming Your Anxiety-free self'.
She will highlight the well-being strategies that she herself used to overcome anxiety.
A spokesperson for the library said: 'This workshop will open your mind to the fact that you have the potential to restore calm'.

Art in the library
Visitors to Bunclody library during the month of June will be greeted with the colourful nature-themed art work of Carlow artist Caroline Cunningham.
Having left a teaching career 20 years ago, Caroline followed a more authentic path which involved healing, transformation and the development of creative skills.
She is now a self-employed therapist of reflexology and offers it to individuals and groups in different aspects of wellbeing.
She will present a workshop in Bunclody library on Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m.
The pilgrimage to Camino de Santiago will take place from August 17 to August 24.
The cost will be €599 inclusive of flights, accommodation and insurance. Places are limited and early booking is advisable.
The pilgrimage director will be Fr Roger O'Neill and the chaplain will be Fr James Culllen.

A pilgrimage to Fatima will also take place later in the year.
It will be held from October 9 to October 16 and will be led by Bishop Denis Brennan.

Blackstairs Mountain Theatre group will be presenting a première of Nic Furlong's play, 'Woman In Black' as its mid-summer production.
The play is set in the public house of Frank Maher in the shadow of Vinegar Hill.
Soon after the arrival of a woman dressed in black, a chain of events is triggered that irrevocably changes the lives of ordinary people with old loves, old losses and old betrayals.
Shamrock Rovers AFC is currently looking for managers for its three adults teams.

The next outing of Uí Cinsealaigh Historical Society will be on Wednesday, June 26.
The outing will include a guided tour of Ferns before lunch followed by a guided tour of Ferns Castle.
A spokesperson for the society said the outing schedule will also include visits to the Tapestry in the Visitor Centre and St Aidan's Monastery of Adoration.
The cost of the outing, including tea or coffee, will be €15,

Vinegar Hill memorial
The annual Vinegar Hill commemoration will take place on Friday, June 21, at 7.30 p.m.
The event will take place from the car park on the hill and pikemen will be in attendance.
Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
The next meeting of Enniscorthy Retirement Association will take place in the Riverside Park Hotel at 2.30 p.m. on July 2.
The society has a busy schedule ahead with some upcoming events, including: a sponsored walk [and] barbecue on Wednesday, July 10. (all members are invited to the barbecue even if not walking); Bus [and] walk to St Mullins (Tuesday, July 16); Bingo in Loreto Village (Wednesday, July 17); Race day outing, Saturday, July 27.
Among the other ongoing activities of the association, these include: Mondays: pitch and putt (10 a.m.); Fridays: line-dancing (11 a.m.) and bowls (1 p.m.) at CWCW; Tuesdays: Scrabble (10 a.m.) at astro-turf; Wednesdays: riverside walk from hotel at 11 a.m.; Thursdays: ramblers' walks (meeting at Lidl at 9.30 a.m.).
