Drama group AGM: Enniscorthy Drama Group will be holding its Annual General Meeting in Treacy's Hotel on Friday, June 28, at 7pm. All members are encouraged to attend and a number of items will be discussed on the night.
Bunclody AFC provides the venue for walking football every week.
The games take place on Thursdays at 11 a.m. and are ideal for people of all ages, genders and fitness levels.
Everyone in the community is encouraged to go along and join in the fun.
The Medjugorje conference and day of prayer will take place on Saturday, August 31.
It will feature Sr Briege McKenna and will take place at Neptune Stadium, Cork. Tickets to attend the event are priced €20 and are available from eventbrite.ie.
For those interested in attending a discount code 'EARLYBIRD' can be entered to receive a discount price of €15.
That offer is only available till May 31.
All tickets will be entered for a free pilgrimage to Medjugorje from Cork or Dublin.

A garden walk will take place in Walter Kelly's garden, Tombrick, Ballycarney, on Sunday, June 9.
The event will be held from 2.30 p.m. until 6 p.m. and admission will be by donation.
Refreshments will be served on the day and everyone in the community is invited to go along.
There will be numerous raffle prizes up for grabs.
The event is being organised to raise money for St Anthony's Unit at County Wexford Community Workshop (Enniscorthy).
A special whist drive event is planned for June 9.
All members are encouraged to attend and more details about the session will be published over the coming weeks.
Tombrack school run
St Kevin's National School in Tombrack will be staging a 6km run/walk on Sunday, June 16, at 11 a.m.
A spokesperson for the school said everyone in the community is being invited to participate in this annual event which is suitable for all the family.
There will be a timed run for more 'professionally minded' athletes and a 3km walk for those who interested in supporting, and enjoying , the local scenic community.
A spokesperson for the organisers commented: 'It is a great way to support the community school and get active as a family.'
The cost of entry will be €5 (juvenile), €10 (adult) and €20 (family). There will be prizes for the top three finishers in both the male and female sections as well as a prize for the fastest parent and child.
Registration will take place in Tombrack National School from 9 a.m.

Volleyball will continue each Friday evening in Galbally hall from 8.30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The sessions are open to people of all ages and abilities.

Enniscorthy retirement association will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, June 4.
The meeting will be held in the Riverside Park Hotel at 2.30 p.m. and all members are invited to attend.
The organisation also has a number of other events planned for the coming weeks including: Outing to Kildare which will include a visit to the National Stud; Japanese Gardens; Newbridge silver and style museum, shopping and a meal on the return journey.
Money for the trip will be required at the June meeting.
There will also be a Bus/Walk to Kilmore on June 18.
The proposed Race Day outing to Gowran will take place in July and times will be published in the Enniscorthy Guardian closer to the date. On-going activities in the club include: Mondays: line-dancing at 11 a.m. and bowls 1 p.m. at the astro-turf; pitch-and-putt at 10.30 a.m. Friday at St Patrick's Park; Wednesdays - Riverside walk at 11 a.m. with participants meeting at 11 a.m. at the Riverside Park Hotel.
There will also be a quiz on June 12 and bingo on June 19, with both events taking place in the Loreto village.
On Thursdays the members also play scrabble at 10.30 a.m. at the astro-turf.
The association has a very busy schedule, however, members are asked to note that craft activities are finished for the summer.
Shamrock Rovers AFC is currently looking for managers for its three adults teams.

Blackstairs Mountain Theatre group will be presenting a première of Nic Furlong's play, Woman In Black' as its mid-summer production.
The play, a dark comedy is set in the public house of Frank Maher in the shadow of Vinegar Hill, Enniscorthy.
The time is the early spring of the present year.
Soon after the arrival of a woman dressed in black, a chain of events is triggered that irrevocably changes the lives of ordinary people as old loves, old losses, and old betrayals surface in this powerful tale. A stellar cast features in this story of love and lust, anger and vengeance, light and darkness.
There will be unexpected twists exposed and the play is sure to deliver an emotional impact.
It will be staged at 8 p.m. on June 20, 21, and 22, and the cost of tickets will be €10.m.
VTOS in Bunclody is currently recruiting for its QQI Level 43 and Level 4 courses.
The courses are free-of-charge and are available to those who are unemployed and aged 21 or over and in receipt of a social welfare payment.

The pilgrimage to Camino de Santiago will take place from August 17 to August 24.
The cost will be €599 inclusive of flights, accommodation and insurance.
However, places are limited and early booking is advisable.
The pilgrimage director will be Fr Roger O'Neill and the chaplain will be Fr James Culllen.

A pilgrimage to Fatima will also take place later in the year.
That pilgrimage will be held from October 9 to October 16 and parishioners from throughout the county are invited to participate.
The pilgrimage will be led by Bishop Denis Brennan.
The cost of that will be €785 per person sharing and early booking is advisable.
The annual Caim parish barbeque will be held on Friday, June 21.
Tickets are now on sale from any Committee member.
The annual patron will take place on Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m.
Enniscorthy library will play host to an internet safety event on Thursday, June 6, at 7 p.m., and a similar event will also take place in Bunclody library on Thursday, June 13, at 7 p.m.
The guest speaker at both events will be Sharon Hayden from the National Parents' Council.
The seminars will be aimed at parents and guardians who are worried about what their children might be accessing on the internet.
A spokesperson for Enniscorthy library said the seminar will look at how children use the internet.
'Parents will be introduced to strategies to help their children be responsible, effective and safer internet users,' he said.
Attention will also be placed on cyber-bullying at the event.
Flood defence display
The public exhibition of the proposed Enniscorthy flood defence scheme is now on view in the local library.
It will remain on display until Tuesday, June 18.
The proposed scheme combines a number of measures to prevent flooding in the town.
In addition to being on view during normal library opening hours, which includes late opening on Thursdays until 8.30 p.m., a representative from the FDS will be in attendance on Wednesday, June 5, until 7.30 p.m., to answer any questions that interested members of the public might have regarding the scheme proposals.
An FDS representative will also be in attendance on Wednesday, June 13, to answer questions relating to the scheme from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Art in library
Visitors to Bunclody library during the month of June will be greeted with the colourful nature-themed art work of Carlow artist, Caroline Cunningham.
Having left a teaching career 20 years ago, Caroline followed a more authentic path which involved healing, transformation and development of creative skills.
She is now a self-employed therapist of reflexology and coaches individuals and groups in different aspects of well-being.
She will present a workshop in Bunclody library on Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m.
Artists sought for town trail
The Wexford Literary Festival, in conjunction with the Enniscorthy Arts Trail & the Presentation Arts Centre, is seeking applications from visual artists to participate in a joint exhibition of work titled Response, Text, Redefined.
Artists are being invited to submit a response to any form of text that has influenced the artist or their practice in any way.
All submitting artists in 2019 will be considered for the new Denis Collins Visual Arts Award.
The awards is a recognition of Mr Collins who sadly passed away earlier this year and who contributed greatly to the arts community in county Wexford.
The deadline for submissions to the visual art exhibition is 4 p.m. on Friday, June 21.
