Green Road - The Presentation Centre in Enniscorthy will provide the venue for a wonderful night of trad on Saturday, March 16, when it plays host to the band Green Road.
Featuring some of the county's foremost musicians the show will include originals tunes mixed with classic folk and trad songs and music.
The concert will get under way at 8 p.m. and tickets, priced €12 (adults) and €7 (under-14s) are now available.
The 4 of Us
The 4 of Us will bring their acoustic show to the Presentation Centre in Enniscorthy on Saturday, March 9, for what promises to be a great night out.
The gig will get under way at 8.30 p.m. and it promises to be a highlight of the year. Featuring the formidable duo of brothers, Brendan and Declan Murphy, the band blends contemporary roots music with rock. With a loyal fan base and a wonderful catalogue of brilliant songs this will be a gig not to be missed for all discerning music fans.
This year's Ferns Diocesan pilgrimage to Fatima will take place between October 9 and 16.
The five-night trip will be led by Bishop Denis Brennan and the cost will be €782, inclusive of travel insurance and full board.

Wexford Civil Defence is now recruiting new members in the Enniscorthy area. The organisation is a great way to learn a variety of new skills in addition to being active in community events and outings.
Training sessions will take place in Enniscorthy on Monday nights from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
The training will include first aid, CFR, FAR, EFR, search skills, rescue communications and swift water response.

The next whist drives take place at St Anthony's Unit at the CWCW on Friday, March 8, and Friday, March 22, getting under way at 8 p.m.

Enniscorthy Vocational College will present its version of John B Keane's classic play, 'The Field', in the Presentation Centre on March 12, 13 and 14.
The shows will get under way at 7.30 p.m. each night and the school has the permission of the Drama League of Ireland to present the work - which is being staged by Transition Year students in the college.
It will be the second production by the school in as many years. Tickets are available from the Enniscorthy Vocational College box office which is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Captain Splash show
The Presentation Centre in Enniscorthy will play host to the Captain Splash Pirate Magic Show on Saturday, April 20, from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The children in attendance will be asked to help with magic and juggling tricks and they will also have a laugh as they meet Captain Splash's friends, Squidly, Sam the Clam and his pet parrot, Squawk.
The audience will see Captain Splash navigate the Bermuda Triangle of Terror and also showing off his sword skills
This is an ideal show to entertain all young children.

Enniscorthy Musical Society will be staging the cult classic, 'Sister Act', at Coláiste Bríde from April 22 to April 27.
Rehearsals have been ongoing over the last number of weeks and it promises to be a truly special and magical production.
Early bird tickets, priced €12, are now available to buy from ticketsource.eu.
The society is well known for the quality of its productions and the forthcoming show looks set to enhance that reputation even further.

The Ferns Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from May 11 to May 16.
It will be led by Bishop Denis Brennan and the pilgrimage director will be Fr Matt Boggan.
The spiritual director will be Fr Brian Broaders.

The the closing date for submission of completed applications is March 1.

Membership renewals are now due for Enniscorthy Active Retirement Association and new members are always welcome to join.
The group has a number of activities and events planned for the coming year including an eagerly anticipated proposed trip to Salou in Spain, which is scheduled to take place in September.
Names are now being taken and a booking deposit of €150 is required from those interested in going on the trip.
The association is one of the busiest in the county and among the regular, ongoing initiatives member enjoy are: Monday - Line dancing at 11 a.m. at Astro Active Centre; Indoor bowls at 1 p.m. at Astro Active Centre and, weather permitting, pitch and putt at 10 a.m. - and also at the same time on Friday; Tuesday is the monthly bus or walk or lunch; Wednesday - walk at 11 a.m. from Riverside Hotel; a table quiz takes place at 2.30 p.m. every second Wednesday at Loreto Village; Thursday - Ramblers' walk at 9.30 a.m. from Lidl car park and craft sessions at 2 p.m. at the Astro Active Centre.
The first draw in the St Aidan's Parish silver circle will take place on March 10 after 11 a.m. Mass. There are six weekly draws for €10.
Mental health workshops
The Spring 2019 timetable for the Recovery College South East is now available and enrolment forms to participate in a workshop can be had by contacting 086 1746330 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The workshops are for everyone and are based around mental health awareness and support.
The sessions are free-of-charge and are based around well-being and recovery.
The workshops are co-produced and co-delivered by people who have lived experience of mental health conditions in conjunction with professional experts.
The college uses an educational approach to develop and enhance people's overall sense of well-being.
Holohan's Bar in Enniscorthy will provide the venue for a very special gig marking the 50th anniversary of Woodstock on Friday, March 15, at 9.30 p.m.
'Wexstock' will feature the Old Fogartys as the main band and the gig will see a wide range of local guest artists paying homage to the line-up that appeared at the legendary music festival 50 years ago.
All money raised from the event will go towards Wexford Hospice homecare.
Friends of St Aidan's and parishioners who have not received their parish envelopes for 2019 can do so by calling into the parish office.
Anyone interested in becoming a 'Friend of St Aidan's' and contribute to the parish and priests' envelopes are also invited to call into the parish office.
Monageer-Boolavogue GAA Club is continuing with its collection of used clothes for recycling.
The collection is to raise much needed funds for the club and the support of everyone in the community is very much appreciated.
A wide range of items are acceptable including unwanted clothes, paired shoes, hats, scarves, and clean bed linen.
However, duvets and cushions are not required at the moment; all donations can be left into the old GAA complex in Monageer, Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
Mass times in St John's Hospital Chapel in Enniscorthy are celebrated on the following days: Tuesday and Friday - 11.30 a.m.; Thursday - 2 p.m. (in the Oratory at new hospital).
Masses can also be booked, however, this can only be done facilitated by contacting Fr P Sinnott.

The Hope Cancer Support Centre is seeking volunteers to work in its centre on Weafer Street in addition to volunteers for the organisation's Charity Shop on Millpark Road, on Tuesday afternoons.
