Firmly establishing itself as a much-loved part of the build-up to Christmas in recent years, the Delightful Dollies annual Craft Fair took over Bellefield GAA complex in spectacular fashion once again this year.

The hard-working committee welcomed stall holders from all over as they displayed some great Christmas gift ideas with all manner of crafts, delicious home-baking and some beautiful knitwear. The fair also gave local transition year students the chance to show their wares as part of their mini-companies with plenty of innovation on show.

Quite a bit of work has gone into the event in recent weeks and the committee were over the moon with the turn-out and enthusiasm from the local community. They wished to thank everyone who came along on the day, as well as the stall-holders themselves and anyone who popped in to lend a helping hand.

The Delightful Dollies Group has been providing a wonderful social outlet for Enniscorthy ladies for the past seven years and they meet each Wednesday at Bellefield where they enjoy a cuppa and a chat, and busily plan trips and organise events like bingo and line-dancing.

The group has become an integral part of the local community and place a big focus on supporting local ventures. They always welcome new members and people are invited to come along on Wednesdays to join in.
