Class of 1977 reel in the years
The Seamus Rafter Room at the Riverside Park Hotel was a buzz with greetings, laughter and conversation last Friday as the Colaiste Bride Leaving Cert class of 1977 came together to renew old friendships and giggle about old times.
And giggle they certainly did as the years fell away and the large attendance were transported back to their school days and all the fun and frolics that went with them.
Organisers Margo Banville Hogan, Margaret Murphy, Gloria Ennis, Anne Byrne and Paula McCarthy were thrilled with the response they received from the class of '77 with past pupils turning up from all corners of the county and the country as well as two from as far afield as New York and Cannes.
The evening was a tremendous success with the reminiscing and revelry going on into the early hours as girls had much to catch up on and no doubt some new and treasured memories were made during the night that will be remembered for the next forty!
