Caim tractor run is rolling success

Brendan Keane

The members of Caim Vintage club held a very successful road run this month that was very well supported.

The event took place on Sunday, June 16, and was organised to raise money for Monart Church and the local development project in Caim.

One of the most active organisations of its type in the county, the club enjoys a healthy level of membership and they were delighted to be able to give their support to two very worthy local causes.

It was a great sight to see vintage machines from a by-gone era in agriculture and farming taking to the road for a good cause.

The club thanked everyone involved in making the road run a success and particular words of praise were also extended to members of the public who got behind the initiative and gave it their support.
