Vintage rally. A major vintage rally and road run will take place in Caim on Sunday, September 8, at 1 p.m.
The event is being organised to raise money for Wexford Hospice Homecare, Caim senior citizen's outing and Caim Vintage Club.
The organisers are encouraging people to donate any bric-a-brac items to any committee member.
There are also some spaces still available on the day for an auto-jumble.

This year's Blackstairs Blues festival in Enniscorthy will take place from Friday, September 13, to Sunday, September 15, inclusive.
The organisers have worked very hard to ensure this year's event is one of the best ever and the fact it's marking its 25th anniversary will give the 2019 festival added significance.
From acoustic blues to raucous, hard hitting, guitar-driven blues rock the event will cover all styles of the blues genre.

Ten Ounce Mouse
Enniscorthy rockers, Ten Ounce Mouse, will launch their new single, 'Echoes', on Friday, August 30.
The launch will take in the Presentation Centre and there will be three special guest acts on the day.
Doors open at 6.30 p.m. and tickets, priced €10, are available on the door and also from www.presentationcentre.ie.
The search is on in Enniscorthy for the owner of a piece of jewellery that was found in the Riverside Park Hotel earlier this year.
The piece was found just a couple of days before St Patrick's Day.
It was bought in a shop in Dublin, which is now closed, and the woman who found it is anxious to get it back to its owner as she feels it might be of huge sentimental value.

Be careful parking
Parishioners are reminded that there is no parking in the cathedral gateway at any time as emergency and delivery access is always required.
The parish office opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. , and on Saturdays from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
New mass times will be introduced in St Aidan's Cathedral, Enniscorthy, later this month.
The new time table will become effective from the weekend of Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1.
That weekend, masses will begin with Saturday vigil at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. and noon.
St Senan's Church will have Saturday vigil at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Fans of hurling are in for a real treat this coming weekend when the '96 all-Ireland winning Wexford team will play a charity match against a Waterford legends squad.
The game will take place at Mount Sion GAA grounds, Waterford, on Saturday, August 31, at 5 p.m.
The game, which is sure to attract a lot of interest from fans of both counties, is being organised for the Little Blue Heroes charity which is an organisation supported by the gardai that helps seriously ill children.
Tickets for the game, priced €10, will be available on the date.
Students tickets are priced €5 and children under 12 years of age will get in free-of-charge.
St Vincent de Paul
The local branch of St Vincent de Paul is appealing for a single bed (without a mattress).
The bed needs to be in good condition.

Pioneer prayer event
The annual Pioneer prayer gathering at Our Lady's Island for 2019 will take place on Monday, September 2.
The gathering will begin at 7.15 p.m. with a procession around the island, followed by mass at 8 p.m.
All parishioners throughout the locality are invited to attend the event which is expected to attract a large number of people.
The local branch of the Society of St Vincent de Paul is looking for a couch in good condition.

Support for Aspergers
A support group for people affected by Asperger's and families is being set up for County Wexford with support from Aspire Ireland volunteers.
The aim is to run monthly meetings to support people affected by the condition.

Friday evenings will see volleyball activities taking place in Galbally.
The games will be held in the village hall between 8.30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The pilgrimage will be led by Fr Michael Doyle who is chaplain at Wexford General Hospital.
The pilgrimage will take place from October 4 to 11 and will take in four nights in Medjugorje along with three nights in Dubrovnik.
It promises to be a very enjoyable pilgrimage and there is a lot of interest in it from within the diocese.

Guitar duo to perform
Two of the worlds foremost fingerstyle guitarists will be arriving in Enniscorthy on Saturday, August 31, for a performance in the Presentation Centre.
Eoin Coogan and Giovanni Agostini will perform an eclectic mix of jazz-influenced pieces.
From Venezuela, Agostini is a guitarist and composer with Italian roots.
He began studying guitar at the age of 14 and while mainly self-taught he also took lessons for two years.
He moved on to electric guitar and then studied classical and in 2012 came to Dublin to complete his musical studies in jazz performance at Newpark Music Centre.
Coogan, who is from Carlow, is best described as a composer and orchestrator of sound.

Bingo sessions are now being run in Mernagh's of Oylegate to raise money for the local tidy towns initiatives.
The sessions take place on Thursday nights and they begin at 9.15 p.m.

The annual collection for St Mary's Cemetery brought in €7,475.
The priests of the parish and the cemetery committee were very grateful for the ongoing support of parishioners.
The money raised will be used to assist the committee with its ongoing maintenance and upkeep work in the cemetery.
The new mass rota for extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist are now available to collect from the sacristy in ST Aidan's Cathedral.
The rota also contains details of the new mass time table which will become effective from the end of the month.
A retreat to Ballyvaloo retreat and conference centre will take place on Saturday, August 31, from 11 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
It will be facilitated by Dr Sean O'Leary and Fr Brendan Nolan.
A spokesperson for the parish said it will allow attendees the opportunity to 'explore wisdom through a sensitivity to nature, scripture and quiet'

Bus trip to Lough Derg
A bus will run from County Wexford to the Irish Pilgirimage Trust day of prayer at Lough Derg on Saturday, September 21.
The full weekend trip will include all bus travel costs from Wexford, New Ross and Enniscorthy in addition to two nights bed and breakfast and two evening meals.
