Room to create: The Presentation Centre in Enniscorthy will provide the venue for a 'Room to Create' workshop on Saturday, June 15, at 11 a.m.
The free workshop is being presented by Music Generation Wexford and will focus attention on creating and recording sound art.
The workshop is aimed at teenage musicians, filmmakers, artists and creative thinkers.
It will take place from 12 noon to 3 p.m., however, places are limited and can be booked through the Presentation Centre on 053 9233000.
A tour of Enniscorthy castle will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.
The tour will form part of the programme of events for Cruinniu na n'Og and people are being invited to go along and experience the history of one of the south east's most iconic landmark buildings.
There will be opportunities to try on periodic medieval clothing and visit the castle's dungeon.
There will also be an opportunity to see a recreation of a 1950s grocery shop and memorabilia from the Brooklyn exhibit.
Visitors will also get to view the roof of the castle which has largely remained the same since 1203 AD.

Enniscorthy library will play host to an interactive storytime session on Saturday, June 15, at 11 a.m.
The session will be facilitated by children's author, Caroline Busher, and will be aimed at families and young children.
In the workshop Ms Busher will read to children and demonstrate to parents how to bring storytime to life for their children.
Those attending can expect to take a trip to the moon and, perhaps, go searching for dinosaurs.
The session is aimed at parents and children up to four-years-of-age.
Ms Busher is reader in residence for Wexford Library Service. Booking for the workshop is essential and places can be booked through 053 9236055.
Power of origami
Bunclody library will be the venue for a special workshop this month aimed at celebrating global wind day.
The wind power origami workshop will take place on Saturday, June 15, and will be aimed at children aged between 6 and 13.
The workshop will place attention on wind power and origami and the participants will learn new craft skills in addition to getting some useful information about the environment.
The workshop will take place at 2.30 p.m. and to book a place contact the library directly on 053 9375466.
VTOS in Bunclody is currently recruiting for its QQI Level 3 and Level 4 courses.
The courses are free-of-charge and are available to those who are unemployed and aged 21 or over and in receipt of a social welfare payment.

Town trail artists
The Wexford Literary Festival, in conjunction with the Enniscorthy Arts Trail & the Presentation Arts Centre, is seeking applications from visual artists to participate in a joint exhibition of work titled Response, Text, Redefined.
Artists are being invited to submit a response to any form of text that has influenced the artist or their practice in any way.
All submitting artists in 2019 will be considered for the new Denis Collins Visual Arts Award.
The awards is a recognition of Mr Collins who sadly passed away earlier this year and who contributed greatly to the arts community in county Wexford.
The deadline for submissions to the visual art exhibition is 4 p.m. on Friday, June 21.

Flood defence design exhibit
The public exhibition of the proposed Enniscorthy flood defence scheme is now on view in the local library.
It will remain on display until Tuesday, June 18.
The proposed scheme combines a number of measures to prevent flooding in the town.
In addition to being on view during normal library opening hours, which includes late opening on Thursdays until 8.30 p.m., a representative from the FDS will be in attendance on Wednesday, June 5, until 7.30 p.m., to answer any questions that interested members of the public might have regarding the scheme proposals.
An FDS representative will also be in attendance on Wednesday, June 13, to answer questions relating to the scheme from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Enniscorthy Drama Group will be holding its Annual General Meeting in Treacy's Hotel on Friday, June 28, at 7 p.m.
All members are encouraged to attend and a number of items will be discussed on the night.
Bunclody AFC provides the venue for walking football every week.
The games take place on Thursdays at 11 a.m. and are ideal for people of all ages, genders and fitness levels.
Everyone in the community is encouraged to go along and join in the fun.
The Medjugorje conference and day of prayer will take place on Saturday, August 31.
It will feature Sr Briege McKenna and will take place at Neptune Stadium, Cork.

5km charity walk and run
A 5km walk/run will take place from the Hub, Ross Road, Enniscorthy on Sunday, June 23, beginning at 11 a.m.
The event is being organised to raise money for Wexford Hospice Homecare and the support of people within the community will be very much appreciated by the organisers.
All donations made towards the event will be gratefully accepted.
The organisers said refreshments will also be served on the day after the event.
Ferns Camogie Club will be organising a charity cycle event on July 14.
The event is being organised to raise money for the club and also Temple Street Hospital.

Open day in St Mary's NS
St Mary's National School in Enniscorthy will be holding an open day event on Wednesday, June 19.
The open day will take place between 1.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. and everyone in the community is invited to attend.
The school is small and benefits from a family-like atmosphere and boasts strong community and parish links.
Operating under a Church of Ireland ethos it's welcoming of all faiths and none.
The school also has in place an active programme which sees pupils engage in a wide range of activities including gymnastics, tennis, swimming and cricket.

The pilgrimage to Camino de Santiago will take place from August 17 to August 24.
The cost will be €599 inclusive of flights, accommodation and insurance.

A pilgrimage from the diocese to Fatima will also take place later in the year.
That pilgrimage will be held from October 9 to October 16 and parishioners from throughout the county are being invited to participate.

The overall cost of travelling on the trip will be €785 per person sharing and early booking is advisable due to the expected level of interest.
Mass time changes
New mass times will be introduced in St Aidan's Cathedral, Enniscorthy, later this year.
The new timetable will become effective from the weekend of Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1.
That weekend masses will begin with Saturday vigil at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
St Senan's Church will have Saturday vigil at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
