Bree’s Pioneers collect their gold and silver pins

There were celebrations at the Church of the Assumption Bree recently as pins and certificates honouring years of membership of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association (PTAA) were handed out following the Saturday Vigil Mass.

Parish Priest Fr Michael Byrne congratulated all the recipients on their achievements.

Gold pins and medals were presented to Breda Kehoe, Nora Cullen, Marie Doyle, Teresa Dixon, Breda O'Brien, Mary Curtis, Mary Power, Mary Kennedy, Clare Doyle, Jim Doyle, Mary Egan, Aidan Egan, Breda Donohoe, Steve Donohoe, Anna O'Neill, Sean O'Neill, Margaret O'Leary, Pat O'Leary, Eddie Dunne, Willie Wickham, Nick Doyle, Seamus Dempsey, Michael Brennan, Breda Dunne and Richie Power.

Silver pins and certificates were awarded to Maria Byrne, Fintan Doyle and Michael Doyle.
