Training triumph at Navan
The Midlands and North East CCROs recently met in Navan RFC for their second 'in-service training day' of the season.
On the day they worked with the North East U15 development squad which is made up of 40 boys from all youth clubs in the North East Area.
The first part of the session involved going through all administration required from CCROs, the second and main part consisted of two hours on-field coaching skills.
This part was relished universally, with coaches imparting a wealth of knowledge, and players learning and practising skills.
In all, 16 CCROs took part on the day under the guidance of CROs Steve Coy and Gerry McCleery and CDO Colin O'Hare.
A productive day was had by all.
