Space - The final frontier
LEINSTER Rugby Coach Development Officers Derek Maybury and Declan O'Brien and Community Rugby Officer Stephen Gore recently delivered a workshop in Willow Park School for all the coaches covering the topic of players in space.
There were over 35 coaches in attendance at the workshop which was held in Willow Park. The tutors for the workshop showed the coaches games and drills based on handling, passing and re-alignment which will help the coaches to get their players to preserve space and hold their width.
The participants showed great enthusiasm, energy and eagerness to learn throughout the workshop and they have arranged for the Leinster tutors to come back and deliver a further two workshops on different topics.
