Snubbed MOD offers olive branch to Rosie
VIP magazine boss Michael O'Doherty has extended an olive branch to Rosanna Davison following their much-publicised falling out over the VIP Style Awards earlier this year.
The Diary has learned that despite media reports that the Assets beauty was to be persona non grata at the forthcoming TVNow Awards at the Mansion house, the Herald columnist has issued her with a personal invite to attend the glitzy bash.
The pair became involved in a spat in the wake of Rosanna's now infamous midnight flit to Marrakech alongside businessman Johnny Ronan in March.
The war of words between the two first kicked off when the beauty queen told the press that she was pulling out of the annual night of glitz and glam, claiming that it clashed with a skiing trip.
The magazine boss retaliated by making his feelings about the snub known during his speech on the night, before sharing some additional words of wisdom in his Herald column the following week.
Since then relations between the pair have been decidedly frosty, with Rosanna yet to RSVP her attendance.
Her presence at the event is sure to cause a stir, given that the event will mark her first public meeting with fellow beauty Glenda Gilson since the row dubbed the 'Ranelagh rumble'.
The Xpose presenter has been lined up to follow in the footsteps of former colleague Lorraine Keane and present the ceremony this year.
