Skerries stars 'adopt' sides
TWO members of the Skerries' senior squad are adopting a minis team each to boost interest in the adult game among the up-and-coming talent at the club.
Marc Hewitt, who has adopted the U10s (pictured), said: "It's a great way as a player to give back to the club."
Ross McAuley (Leinster Junior Player of the Year 2011-12) has adopted the U7s, along with Ed Caraher.
"I've adopted the under-7s and it's great to see them all develop their rugby skills each week -- and having fun," McAuley said.
