Dublin Theatre Festival
•CALLING all theatre lovers -- the 54th annual Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival is set to take place over 18 days, starting from September 29.
The hit festival, which presents 28 different shows in 25 venues throughout Dublin, will showcase both Irish and international film and theatre companies as well as Ireland's top artists of the moment.
Tickets are now on sale for the three-week event.
With multiple events to chose from and different venues to pop into, the festival is set to sell out quickly this year.
wwwFESTIVAL goers will be happy to hear that the Bacardi tent at Electric Picnic is back this weekend with a great line up.
The Bacardi Get Together arena for will play host to the ultimate cocktail party this year as well as providing music and entertainment for the revellers. The popular arena will showcase the internationally acclaimed DJ Mylo, Disco Bloodbath, Retro/Grade, Alex Metric, disco dance floor fillers Horse Meat Disco, Russ Chimes and DJ Mighty Mouse.
Also taking to the stage are BBC Radio 1 DJs and label owners, Jaymo and Andy George, musical legend Greg Wilson, The Glimmers and Lady Gaga's remixer Grum.
Plus some Irish talent will get their chance to shine this weekend.
Dazboy, Dave Redmond, Arveene & Misk, Frankie Bingo and Handsome Paddy will be taking to the Bacardi stage at the festival.
