Diana Bunici: I feel like I'm in relationship with Skype because Steve travels so much

Steve is constantly on the road touring with his band Kodaline, but Diana says the loved-up pair manage to make it work despite the distance nature of their relationship.

"He's doing his dream job, so it's just something that we work around," she told the Diary.

"There are weeks on end when we don't see each other and Skype is like your best friend. There are times when I see him and I'm like 'Oh my God, you're real!', because we talk so much through things like Facebook and Skype."

The photogenic duo recently came back to Ireland to celebrate Steve's 27th birthday, with Diana whisking him away for a not-so-manly trip to Monart Spa in Wexford.

"Steve is incredibly busy all the time - he could be anywhere in the world at any one time. So when he has some time off we like to just unwind and chill," Diana said.

"It was amazing - getting to walk around in your robe and not worrying about what you have to put on that day."

While the pair are happy being based across the pond for now, it seems Steve is looking to a future at home - as he was spotted at an Allsop auction this week bidding on a plush pad located in his Northside hometown, Swords.

However, it seems it wasn't meant to be, after he was outbid for the house, which sold for €717,000.

Hats off to Sue

Irish milliner Suzie Mahony will be in London to showcase her couture spring/summer 2016 Collection during London Fashion Week this month.

Suzie, who last year designed a bespoke piece for America's First Lady, Michelle Obama, will present the intricate creations of her Butterfly collection on September 20.

"I am very excited about the 'Butterfly' Collection, which is inspired by the colour, elegance and movement of the butterfly and is designed in a beautiful silk weave," she said.

The Beat to play Dublin

Popular 1980s' rockers The Beat have announced they will play a one-off show here next year.

The British group - whose hits include All Out To Get You and Mirror in The Bathroom - will take to the stage in Dublin's Academy on March 11. Tickets for the gig cost €22.50 and will go on sale this Friday at 10am.
