Leigh's living it up as she chases UK career
SHE'S been noticeably absent from Dublin's social scene in recent weeks -- but it hasn't stopped actress Leigh Arnold living the high life across the water.
The Diary can reveal how the Foxrock beauty, whose TV series The Clinic was axed earlier this year, has been busy living it up in London lately, where she is believed to be pursuing a number of new acting projects.
Quick to embrace the VIP lifestyle, Leigh (31) was spotted enjoying a night on the tiles at exclusive celebrity hotspot Annabel's last Friday night alongside her friend and agent, Red Carpet owner Tara Sinnott.
The glamorous Dubliners were joined by American supermodel and businesswoman Caprice Bourret, whom Tara represents in Ireland.
The blonde beauty, who has become a regular face in Dublin since landing a role as a judge on TV3 series Style Wars earlier this year, hit the headlines this month after a photograph of her sporting a less than fresh-faced look emerged.
However her close pal Tara claims the offending picture was digitally enhanced.
"It was definitely touched up, it had to have been," the glamorous blonde told the Diary. "She never lets any of it get to her, she's been in the business too long to take any notice.
"We had a really nice time. We met up with Leigh on Friday night as she was over there for the week as well.
"I was hoping to see Michelle Heaton while I was over there but she was in Belfast for work which I was really disappointed about."
Tara, who spoke exclusively to the Herald earlier this month about her battle with anorexia as a teen, revealed she's had a phenomenal reaction since speaking publicly about her eating disorder for the first time.
She was among those due to attend a VIP bash at Buck's Townhouse last night in order to celebrate the venue's sponsorship of Mr World Kamal Ibrahim's charity skydive in aid of the Variety Club. The party had to be cancelled due to the bad weather and is due to be rescheduled.
