Happy 60th, Edenderry!
TOMORROW, Edenderry RFC will be the venue for this year's Leinster v Munster Junior Interprovincial clash, kicking off at 4pm. Every year, this is a special occasion, but this season marks the 100th meeting between these two great rivals.
This landmark event will form part of Edenderry's 60th anniversary celebrations. Also taking place on the day will be an army parachute display and family entertainment including a bouncy castle, face painting and train rides, all from 2pm.
But the day won't end come the full-time whistle.
Afterwards, there will be an evening of entertainment in the clubhouse, and a barbecue featuring a pig on a spit.
