Cream of new Naas crop saluted at awards
NAAS RFC held their end-of-season youth and mini awards for age grades from under-7 to under-15 and senior and junior girls awards last weekend.
Conditions on the day were ideal. All teams and their families attended and had a fun day.
Senior and junior girls awards went to Caoimhe Brady, Nollaig McGuire, Emily McKeown, Millie Sheridan and Romy Morrin. Under-11s awards went to Daniel Caulfield, Jack Carroll, Tiernan McKnight, John Shanahan, Colm Nolan, Patrick O'Flaherty, Eddie Foster, Paddy Kelly, Adam Farrell, David Lynch, Ben McManus, Jamie Osborne, Ben Noone, Dean Saunders and Conor MacNamee.
The Under-12 awards were presented to Derry Lenehan, David Whitaker and Alex Reilly. The Under-13s awards were presented to Jack Coyle, Ben Charles, Conan Doyle, Niall Rooney, Jack Fitzgerald, Cathal Daly, Luke Brophy and Niall Stapleton.
The under-14s awards were presented to Jack Hogan and Jack Reilly. The under-15s awards were presented to Ross Fitzsimons, Callum Swan, Oisin O'Meara, Rob O'Brien, Rory Ryan, Conor McPhilips, Dan O'Hara, Dean Burke, Cillian Murphy, Jonathan Byrne and John Cullen (Parent -- Most Valuable Person Award).
Meanwhile, the Naas Under-16 squad won the Leinster Schools/Youth Cup in Edenderry recently.
