Greenhills tournament

GREENHILLS Bowling Club will host its annual charity tournament over six weeks, starting this Thursday at 8pm sharp. The entry fee per game is €5 and the overall winner can nominate a charity and the club will donate the proceeds to that charity.

Greenhills league teams travelled to Redeemer, Dundalk and unfortunately came up short by two shots overall. Players who performed well were Valerie Bannon, Gertie Griffin, Claire Woods and Winnie Hanlon. Our last game will be played next Sunday to avoid relegation to division one.

Any member who wishes to play in the Oriel Zone tournaments is invited to put their name on the club noticeboard and members are reminded that subscriptions are due.

New members are always welcome, and for further information contact 087-7799748.

NUMBERS drawn in last Wednesday's Duleek AFC/SBG FC lotto for a jackpot of €5,100 were 4, 13, 22, 27 and the single match-three winner of €100 was Breda Droney (c/o HIlly). The five €20 prizes went to Karen Smith, T Finnegan, M Brien, Adam Duff and Tony Grant.

WELL done to Sean Daly of Team MoCo Mountain Bike Club on his third-place finish in round two of the Biking Blitz Baggy Shorts Race in Galway.

Round three takes place next Sunday in Dublin's Three Rock Mountains. Call 085-7481649 for more details.
