Macklin's early brace sets Strabannon on right track
Stabannon Parnells recorded their second league win with a comfortable win over the Wolfe Tones in Drogheda on Sunday afternoon.

Louth hurler Andrew Mackin got two early goals for Stabannon and when Thomas McBride scored a third goal from the penalty spot there was only ever going to be one winner.
Behind 3-7 to 0-3 at half time, Wolfe Tones battled hard in the second half with Gideon Lugoye contributing four points in total, but Stabannon added two further goals from Wayne Lynch and Daniel Bannon to finish up comfortable winners.
