Ladies aiming to land Leinster crown

Meath Ladies will be hoping to take an important step on their way to making amends for last year's All-Ireland intermediate final defeat when they travel to Netwatch Cullen Park to play Wexford in the Leinster final on Sunday at 2pm.
Wexford overcame Kildare in their semi-final while Meath avenged last year's defeat by Wicklow in impressive fashion on a scoreline of 5-14 to 0-6. Earlier Eamonn Murray's charges defeated 2018 Leinster champions Laois at the quarter final stage.
So far this year Meath have suffered just one defeat, in the final round of the Division 3 league campaign to Down, when they had already qualified for the knockout stages. They defeated Longford 5-18 to 3-10 in the semi-final before being crowned league champions following a facile 4-11 to 1-7 final win over Sligo.
The counties last clashed in the 2018 Division 3 league final where Wexford ran out winners by 3-10 to 1-12. Wexford subsequently found the going tough in this year's Division 2 league campaign, winning just two of their seven matches.
However they will likely provide stiff opponents but Meath will be hoping to continue their great run of form at all levels this year by taking the title.
