You?re a Star?s Michelle to do her best for ABACAS

The children of Drogheda?s ABACAS school will have their very own representative on RTE?s new reality TV show Fáilte Towers.

Filmed in Bellingham Castle the show features 13 celebrities battling it out for their respective charities to run a real, fully-functioning hotel. Celebrity Michelle Heaton was a special guests at our last Valentine ball. Now we are absolutely delighted that she has entered the Fáilte Towers show on behalf of Irish Autism Action,? said Jacinta Walsh of ABACUS.

?Michelle has said she is supporting Irish Autism Action after her fellow You're A Star judge Keith Duffy told her all about the cause and the work he does for the charity,? Jacinta Walsh explained.

Parents of the Drogheda school children are hoping Michelle manages to last the pace as Fáilte Towers hits the screens of RTE 1 on Saturday, August 2nd. We are asking everyone to text in and support her in the Fáilte Towers programme as she is supporting us,? Jacinta stressed.

Indeed people can even go along in person to support the cause as the Drogheda school has a number of tickets available for the studio audience.

The show lasts for 16 nights with celebrities required to run the hotel and produce two meals a day of its guests, while judges former RTE presenter and hotelier Bib Baskin, Sammy Leslie of Castle Leslie and star chef Derry Clarke, get to decide which celeb gets their nightly marching orders.

Singer Michelle is a judge on RTE?s You're A Star talent competition. She rose to fame when she took part in the ITV reality television show Popstars.

She has recently released a cover version of Coldplay's single 'Talk' as her debut single. The proceeds from her new single will also go to Irish Autism Action,
