Support is urged for Adam's cause
A special challenge match between players from the Drogheda Boys will take place on Easter Saturday at 11.30am at United Park as part of a fundraising project for former player Adam McDonnell. He suffered life changing head injuries last year and his former coaches and players have come together to help him out.
A Prize Draw has also been arranged with Premium Tickets to Ireland v Gibraltar and an Ireland Jersey signed by the players and new Management team among the prizes. All donations of €10 euro or more will be entered into the draw.
Tickets will also be available on the day or by contacting one of the organisers. All donations are greatly appreciated.
A GoFundMe page has been set up and the organisers are hoping for plenty of support for Adam.
They are hoping to raise €1,000 from the game and have up to €800 already secured. It's at https://www.gofundme.com/adam-mc-fundraiser.
