St Joseph's lads set to help out in Indian school

A number of students from St Joseph's Secondary School are continuing their fundraising exploits with the aim to raise as much as possible for a school project in India.

St Joseph's have been involved in the setting up and development of a school in Schillong, Northern India, for underprivileged children who would not otherwise receive an education.

Ten students and four staff members from St. Joseph's will travel to the region on October 20th for 11 days.

Both students and teachers have been preparing for the last number of months and have been fundraising in the local community.

The latest event last weekend was a table quiz in the Westcourt Hotel and it helped to further boost the campaign.
