Skills summit at City North Hotel

M1 Skillnet in conjunction with Drogheda & District Chamber are proud to present the M1 Leadership & Skills Summit which will take place in City North Hotel on September 20th from 8.30am to 1pm with a business networking lunch afterwards.

Linda Ennis, Network Manager of the M1 Skillnet is delighted to bring the summit to business people in the North East "we have a great line up of experts speaking at the event, it will be an extremely informative event and also a great opportunity for business people to network at lunch. The evet is open for HR Leaders, Managers, Business Owners or anyone who manages or leads people and teams and will be of particular interest to those looking to keep up to date with what is happening in business in the North East Region ".

The summit will cover topics such as business in the North East and the M1 corridor, the future skills needs for the North East and the benefits of impactful leadership.

Speaking at the event will be Paul Healy CEO Skillnet Ireland who will be addressing current and future skills; and Gerry Duffy Professional Speaker & Author who will discuss the role of leaders in attracting and developing talent and what good looks like in companies with highly successful cultures.

Thomas McEvoy Head of Enterprise, Local Enterprise Office will also speak and highlight the benefits of the M1 corridor and Shona McManus President Drogheda & District Chamber will host the event and also a panel discussion with experts in the industry on the topic of "North East-Right Location Right Skills". Shona will contribute her industry experience as the CEO of Osborne Recruitment to this discussion and panellists include: Pete Rowan, Yapstone; Michael O'Dowd, Regional Skills Forum; Brian Drain, DAA; Roslyn O'Shaughnessy, BD Pharmaceutical and Dr Michael Mulvey, DKIT.
