ROADS around Tenure are threatening to sunk into a sea of potholes!

Not only has the Drogheda Road become a nightmare, the Bog Road is also beginning to look more like the surface of the moon than a well used local road.

For resident, Kevin Kelly, the dangers are very apparent. 'The one on the road towards Donegan's is terrible and people now swerve onto the wrong side of the road to avoid it. And the people approaching from that side just have to stop because there is nowhere for them to go,' he said.

And the Bog Road is even worse, with a number of craters opening up.

'There is one that opened up in February and it's now huge. People are worried it will lead to an accident.'

Indeed for motorcyclists and cyclists, it's a virtual no-go area.
