Duleek - 2018 Marks: 249. 2017 Marks: 243. What the judges said: 'The large sculptures on the Drogheda Rd make a strong impact. The new notice board on the village green looks very well. Duleek has a mixed quality of shopfronts.

'Haven Pharmacy looks fresh and cheerful with its colourful pots and blue railings. We are delighted to see that the Credit Union and Greyhound bar are getting a makeover.

'A pleasant seating area was observed opposite O' Neill's. Another highlight is the elegant Village Green - the focal point of the town. We were fascinated by the story of the Lime Tree! Well done to all involved in the wonderful initiative that is the Duleek Community Shop where residents have a chance to give items a 2nds lease of life.

'We admired the grey house with red doors near O' Neill's. Several attractive residences were observed around the Village Green including O' Connell's house and barn and the thatched cottage. On the Main St, Monica's yellow corner house made an excellent impression.'
