Green day by the banks of the Boyne
Drogheda's annual celebration of St Patrick proved another great success with a huge number of entrants taking part in the annual parade through the town.
One of the biggest features was the number of community groups that entered, from sports right through to dance and organisations, including the scouts and guides from all over the district.
The Clogherhead RNLI were the Grand Marshals and proudly carried the banner through the streets of the town.
This year, they'll take charge of a new lifeboat, adding even more to their service.
The Turkish Ambassador to Ireland, His Excellency Levent Murat Burhan and staff from the embassy also walked through the streets, expressing their delight at the association with the town.
East Meath United - marking 20 years in existance - the Fleadh Cheoil, Tullyallen Karters, the Tones, Blues, O'Raghallaigh's, Glen Emmets, Kid Kast, Drogheda Marsh Crescent, Boyne RFC, Ashling Nally, St Fechin's, Plunketts, St Mary's, and St Nicholas were just some of the great clubs and organisations on show.
