Further planning information has been forwarded to Louth County Council in respect of a major development at Hardman's Gardens.

Brugha Developments Ltd are seeking to construct in the region of 40 units on a site, presently fronted by five derelict buildings beside McDonnell's shop.

The developers have outlined changes to the site size as well as relocating a pelican crossing on the main road.

They have also been asked to state how Japanese knotweed on the site will be managed.

A decision on the proposal is now expected on August 13.
