Dunleer delight at roads funding
Repairs also secured for Dysart, Ballapousta and Murray's Cross junction
Dunleer's crumbling streets are set for a major investment from Louth County Council after months of complaints.
The council will now carry out road closures on the main street and Ardee Road from June 1 to fix the issues.
It was confirmed this week that a number of other roads are also set for works, including Anaglog to Ballapousta and Mosstown, as well as the stretches from Dysart to Rathdrumin, Ardee to Oberstown Cross, and the Murray's Cross junction in Togher.
Repairs have also been secured for the roads at Killanny to the county boundary and Aclint to Nicholastown.
