Actor celebrates another year in the TV spotlight
ANOTHER local man is also back on the television screens soon, as news has filtered back to the Drogheda Independent that our own Canadian export Adam Fergus is continuing his role in the hit show 'Being Erica'.
The announcement was made in his adopted country last week, that the show has secured another series, and filming will begin in Toronto in May.
'It's brilliant news and I haven't stopped celebrating since I heard the news last Friday,' said the delighted Laytown actor, who made his debut in the last season of the hit show.
'Filming for the fourth and final season starts in mid-May and I'll be departing Irish waters shortly before hand, and may go Stateside for a bit, before hitting Canada.'
Adam plays an Irish time traveller in the television comedy-drama, which started in 2009, and can be seen on E4, with Adam's starring role due in the summer.
The son of Eamon and Mary Fergus from Laytown, he has also appeared in 'The Clinic', 'Trouble in Paradise' and as the lead Daniel in Irish film ' Satellites and Meteorites' with co-star Amy Huberman.
