The Peter Mark Long Service Awards took place at The Westin Hotel, Dublin and recognised employees from salons across the island of Ireland who have worked at Peter Mark for 10 years or more.

Of the 120 honoured, the average length of service was 16 years but many were celebrating even more significant milestones with the company! 19 people celebrated their silver jubilee racking up an impressive 25 years on the salon floor while six members of the team were honoured for 30 years of service. Two hairstylists celebrated 35 years with the company, Karen O'Neill who is based at the Malahide salon and Alice McAvinney who is based in Dundalk.

Among those receiving top honours was Cathal Keaveney, Head of Education and Professional Development at Peter Mark who has been with the company for 30 years.

Collectively those honoured have almost 2,000 years of experience in the hairdressing industry ranging from stylists to support staff.

The first Peter Mark salon was opened by brothers Peter and Mark Keaveney in 1961 on Grafton St.
