Ardcath/Clonalvy: Limetree Writers Group - Writing sessions take place every 2nd Tuesday of the month in Duleek Library. The next meeting is Tuesday 9th July at 6.45pm. New members welcome.

Julianstown

Collier the Robber

On 24th of August Sonairte hosts a wonderful free event for Heritage week. This year marks the 170th anniversary of the death of local man Michael Collier, better known as the notorious Collier the Robber and in the usual Julianstown Drama Group tradition they will perform a comical dramatisation based loosely on his life.

The Play is titled "A Julianstown Man" and is written and directed by local Julianstown woman Debbie Wogan.

This outdoor theatrical event promises to give big belly laughs, a little sadness, but above all great entertainment. A factual talk by local historian Brendan Matthews will take place at 3pm followed by Drama at 4p.m.  All are welcome.

Just B Fit

Just B Fit will be coming to the Julianstown Community Centre. The classes will be starting on Tuesday 10th September. Tuesday: 3:15pm - for 3-6 year olds with classes at 4:15pm will be for 7-12 year olds. 8 weeks for €90. Contact Tamara on 086 080 9885 or visit their Facebook page.
