Monasterboice's Tourism and Tidy Towns

The Sponsor a Tree project is already a very successful one and people have really come on board during 2019. As a result there were over 100 trees planted at Killineer and Priestown. It is hoped to plant lots more trees for 2020 and the committee, after gaining many over the Christmas period, is again looking for Sponsors in the New Year.

Locations for planting include Ferney Park, Killineer and Priestown, pollinator parks and an orchard of fruit trees in an area behind the Northbound bus stop opposite the Monasterboice Inn. Your tree can include a personalized place name made by the very talented volunteer Kathleen Smyth.

A great alternative New Year present perhaps or indeed 'In Memory' of a loved one.

Tree sponsorship is €50. You can contact us on 0830562641 or email monasterboicetourism@gmail.com.
