Tiernans Walk/Run.

Monasterbouce folk have stoutly supported the annual Tiernan's Walk/Run each September and are asked, just one more time, to give this most worthy charity, one more leg up.

The event is over 5k and all is done in the memory of Tiernan, Rosie and Johnny Levin's little darling. Indeed, the little fella has stolen a little of all our hearts and it's for this reason, along with the charity, that we are all requested to get to Hunterstown football pitch at 12 noon on Sunday next, Sept 8th, when the last sponsored leg stretch will happen. I'm reliably informed that refreshments won't be a million miles away either.

Final

All roads lead to Dunleer this Wednsday when Naomh Mairtin U16 girls take on Hunterstown in the Division 2 Final.

This is a repeat of last years championship final in which Noamh Mairtin was narrowly beaten by a single point. Here's hoping the girls go one step further this time

They have been fortunate to be presented with a new training kit, kindly sponsored by Thomas Murphy of Thomas Murphy Construction and Liam Ryan of Crieveliam and a big thank you to both for their generosity.

Best of luck, girls
