Monasterboice: 40 years of Pilgrimages - The good, nay, great people who annually take the arduous trip to Lough Derg from Monastetboice are hosting "A taste of Lough Derg" on Sunday next, June 9th at 3pm in Tenure's church.

It's to mark the 40th anniversary of the first trip from our parish and all, from the uninitiated to the "wouldn't miss it for the world" brigade are welcome to attend. Small parts of the Lough Derg programme will be presented, together with prayers and reflections, followed by mass.

So, if you don't know already, and wonder what happens at the pilgrimage, this is a wonderful chance to find out. In other words, what happens in Lough Derg... WON'T stay in Lough Derg.
