Congrats to Rachel

Well done to young Rachel Eagleton from Bettystown who played a blinder in the world transplant games in Newcastle and Gateshead. After a herculean effort, she annexed a precious silver medal when she pushed her Italian opponent all the way.

Rachel had a kidney transplant as a child. She also had her thirty-third birthday recently which she celebrated in the company of her team.

She will never forget her donor she said and of course her family and staunch friends who gave her great support which also culminated in her brilliant performance.

Again, well-done Rachel.
