The descriptive adjective "beautuful" was bandied about in copious amounts on Tuesday last when the children from Harestown and Tenure schools were confirmed in Tenure church. All involved concurred that the weather, the church and the children all wore the complementary tag with total justification. A memorable day indeed.
And thanks again
A big thank you to all who attended the recent successful book launch "Monasterboice Cemetery Inscriptions ". The book is now available at a cost of €15 each. Please contact any of the following numbers for your copy

The above had a fantastic response to the 'Sponsor A Tree' campaign. Almost 70 trees were planted at the new pollinator parks at the Pope's Cross Killineer and at Priestown on Saturday 23rd February.
The group were delighted to have so many of the sponsors join them to plant their trees. The Community Spirit in the area is truly alive and well.
All the trees planted are native to Ireland and will all be pollinators which will be good news for the bees. There is a mixture of fruit and cherry trees along with some other varieties. More trees are ordered so if anyone is interested in sponsoring a tree please contact it's secretary Kathryn on 0830562641.
The Drumshallon Forge is located just north of the Piperstown Equestrian Centre, Ballymakenny Road, Grangebellew, Co Louth, A92 DF7X.
