Julianstown Tidy Towns

In 2019 Julianstown Tidy Towns are hoping to raise enough funds to totally revamp the flower beds going up through the village, add more colour and also attract more bees and butterflies. If you can help with this in any way either by donation or giving a hand the Tidy Towns Committee would love to hear from you.

TÚS scheme

Exciting opportunity to avail of 19.5 hours work placement in your local area. Meath Partnership is currently seeking to expand the number of participants on the Tús Scheme. Tús is a one-year community work scheme for people who are unemployed for more than 12 months and in receipt of a jobseeker's payment. The minimum payment on Tús is €220.50 per week. You will also receive dedicated one to one career support, C. V. preparation, interview skills and accredited training throughout the year. Christmas Lights

Clogherhead Development Group extends their sincere thanks to all the businesses who supplied the ESB for lights this year. Didn't they look marvellous as did all the private houses that had fantastic displays of lights as well.

Yoga with Gra

Another new class in the Community Hall, Clogherhead is Yoga with Gra. These classes are on Wednesday 9.30 - 10.30 a.m. and Saturday 10 - 11 a.m. are becoming very popular with the ladies and gentlemen are welcomed as well. All weather pitch

The latest craze at the All Weather Pitch in Clogherhead is to hire it out by the hour for your child and their friends to play football. It costs only €20 for 1 hour and after the hour you can continue the party there on the pitch or go to the Community Hall where they can run around having great fun in secure, friendly and safe surroundings for only €30 per hour. And then they just flake out with tiredness, happy but tired.

Get Well greetings

Set Dancing weekend

It is that time again. The annual Set Dancing Weekend at An. Grianan takes place from January 25th - 27th. Plans are well advanced for this hugely popular weekend which has an International dimension to it with bookings coming from France, Germany, U.S.A. and Scotland. More details to follow. Meanwhile Set Dancing resumes for 2019 in Sandpit Hall on Thursday January 17th at 8.30pm.
